Daily Nourishment for November 22, 2024: Become More of Your Full Self with Guidance from Tanya Davis

Daily Nourishment Read Time: 50 seconds
Pause/Prompt/Practice Time: 10-12 minutes

Pause.

Take six deep breaths. Then add the following breath prayer/meditation with your breath:

Inhale: I become more than myself

Exhale: By being myself

Repeat several times with each inhale and exhale.

 

Prompt.

Set a timer for five minutes then write into the question below using the template:

Who are you?
answer

Who are you?
answer

Keep answering this question for the full five minutes.

 

Practice.

Choose one or more exercises from the list below to do in the coming hours or days.

  1. Write about what you discovered about yourself in the exercise above.

  2. Write a list of affirmations and tape them to your mirror. Recite them out loud as a way to start and end your day.

  3. Write a gratitude letter to yourself. Express gratitude for who you are, your strengths, etc.
