Daily Nourishment Read Time: 35 seconds
Pause/Prompt/Practice Time: 12 minutes

"Proximity increases empathy." —Bryan Stevenson

Pause.

Send prayers (or positive vibes or light, etc.) to someone whose name comes to mind and to whom you feel connected right now.

Prompt.

Set a timer for seven minutes and write about a memory that includes the person who came to mind during the Pause above.

Practice.

If you’re able, call the person who came to mind, let them know how much they mean to you, and express gratitude to them.

Then handwrite a letter to someone else with whom you’d like to reconnect.
