“Integration, Harmony, and Creative Flow:”
The Harmony Triad Theory* helps us see our default tendencies and point us towards what we need in order to become more integrated and whole. Without this awareness, we tend to operate from our default motivation which supports the “false” self. While knowing our enneagram number brings awareness to our default way of doing and seeing, the harmony triad names the path towards integration for our number—helping us find balance and integration in all the triads—mind, body (gut), and heart. When we are centered and grounded, we are able to tap into our creative flow.

*The Harmony Triad Theory comes from the book Spiritual Rhythms of the Enneagram: A Handbook for Transformation by Adele and Doug Calhoun, and Clare and Scott Loughrige

Lori’s Recommended Enneagram Resources:
I recommend the WEPSS test for $15 as it gives a good overview of percentages of each number (we are not just one number). As well, how we function both under stress and when we are healthy.
This website is from Adele and Doug Calhoun whom I studied under. It also shows their book—Spiritual Rhythms for the Enneagram which I also highly recommend.

I began my journey with a spiritual director in 2013 after experiencing burnout in a cross-cultural context. My husband and I made a deliberate decision to take a Sabbatical year. This was a significant turning point in my life towards healing and wholeness as I met with a spiritual director and began to know my identity as God’s beloved—not marked by what I do (or don’t do). This was pivotal, and after returning to the states I pursued becoming a spiritual director.

I entered Selah’s spiritual direction program (Leadership Transformation Inc.) and completed my certificate in 2018. Since then I have also gone on to get my 200 hr yoga teacher training through the Yoga Abbey and an Enneagram certificate through the Pax Center.

My heart is to host safe sacred space to listen to the heart of the one I am sitting with as we sit in the presence of Divine Love. I believe we are all God’s beloved, and that knowing and believing this will be transformational in the way we live our lives.

Currently I reside in Vero Beach, Florida with my husband, two teenage boys, and our dog Ruby. After living in Southeast Asia for more than half of our marriage, we are making our home near the beach. My soul is fed by one-on-one conversations with soul friends, beauty in nature, a good cup of coffee, walks and paddle-boarding. I also love adventures to new cultures—experiencing the diversity of the world we live in. But in the end, I love my home and creating “sanctuary” space where I live.
