Daily Nourishment for November 14, 2024: When the Rain Comes Down

Daily Nourishment Read Time: 30 seconds
Pause/Prompt/Practice Time: 12-15 minutes

If you’re tired of your usual contemplative and creative practices, see where natural elements like rain might take you.

Prompt.

Write about something that begins in the rain. Set a timer for five minutes and keep your pen moving.

Practice.

In the coming hours or days, write about a recent personal experience with the rain.

Set a timer for seven minutes and take notes with bullet point phrases or write sentences. Journal or pray or begin a new essay or a story or a letter to a friend.
