Take six deep breaths with a six-count inhale and a six-count exhale. Close your eyes and rest for a few minutes if you like.
Prompt.
Read “Confession” by Leila Chatti.
Then listen to Chatti read the poem.
Then read it one more time.
Practice.
What does the poem “Confession” stir in you?
What images come to mind?
What do you feel in your body?
What do you imagine?
What happens in your soul?
Which lines have more energy for you?
What did you notice the third time through that you didn’t notice the first and second times?
