Writing in Hotels
I’m writing at a local hotel again because I love writing at hotels.
I’ve been here for about an hour, and I think I’ve worked out all of the kinks and captured the big to-dos that tend to distract me from my writing writing. If more to-dos come to mind, I’ll pause, write them on the notebook next to my laptop and keep going.
I have about an hour before I lead an SDW Co-Writing Session. Then I have a two-hour online class after that. Then I’ll lead two more co-writing sessions in the morning. I hope to start three more chapters for the book in between all of those stops and starts.
Because I got a pretty decent rate on this room, I might end up spending tomorrow night here, too. I certainly have plenty of snacks and drinks because writing in hotels requires plenty of snacks and drinks.
Okay. I’m starting a new chapter for the book NOW. I’m going to set my timer for 55 minutes and see what happens.
Let’s do this.
Wish me luck or pray for me or whatever. I’ll take it all.
More soon.
