Signs of Spring

I saw the first daffodils of the season one week ago.

I saw the first blooming forsythia while out and about on Saturday.

Yesterday, I crossed a thick row of hedges behind our condo to clip a few early sprigs. Then I dropped them into a drinking glass because I’m not sure where all of my vases are.

It’s fine.

I’m glad I have forsythia in my (our) yard again. It’s been awhile. Early signs of spring are some of my favorite signs.

Possibly unrelated: I’m sad about the white American church today for various reasons. Sometimes I think life would be easier if I didn’t believe in Jesus, but I do.
